The brief

DipUp is a German sauce brand arriving in front of an Iranian audience that had no reason to know it yet. A launch like that has a specific trap: say everything at once, and the audience files you under “another imported condiment” before the first bottle is on a shelf.

The idea

Stage it. Release a teaser that deliberately withholds the product, then let the brand film and the product film arrive against an audience that is already mildly curious. Curiosity is cheap to create and expensive to buy back once you have spent it, so the teaser is the piece that gets the most restraint.

What we made

Three films, released in order. The teaser is the shortest and the least literal. The brand film sets tone and appetite. The product film is deliberately plain — by that point the viewer has decided they are interested, and what they want is information, not more atmosphere.

Each was cut to work in a feed: legible at a glance, comprehensible with sound off, and framed so nothing important sits where a platform’s interface will cover it.

Craft notes

Sauce is difficult to shoot well. It moves, it reflects, and it looks unappetising at most angles and nearly all colour temperatures. Most of the lighting work on this one went into keeping the surface readable — enough specular highlight to show texture, not so much that it reads as grease.

We do not decorate a business. We give it a world to stand in.
The teaser. It withholds the product on purpose — the job is a second look, not a sale.
The brand film, released once the teaser had done its work.
The product film — short, literal, and built to be understood at speed.
